My first post

I can't say I've never been much of a blogger, I am on Facebook and Myspace so from time to time I've been known to put postings up.   Recently I thought it would be fun to start a more 'formal' diary of sorts to share my experiences.  Now that I'm a Mommy, I imagine some day Gabrielle will look back and wonder what I was like.  Hopefully by keeping a journal I can share it with her someday.  I'll just have to remember to print it off occassionally, as I don't imagine in 20+ years Blogger.com will be around.  We shall see.

I live a full life, Gabrielle is turning 1 this week (July 21) so my life is much different now that I've entered parenthood.  Michael and I have been married just over a year (April 18) and after my maternity leave from Eli Lilly I went back to work full swing.  I am no longer with Lilly, and will not disclose my current place of employment for security reasons.  However, I plan to share lots of fun stories and the various day to day things I encounter both at work and home.

Today, like most Monday's, has been very quiet and routine.  I chatted with my sister, Cortney, on the drive to work.   She has two son's, Brody (3) and Zane (1 - just 3 wks older than Gaby), so she has a lot of insight to share on Gaby's development.   I arrived at work, docked my laptop, and logged in to find a sea of new emails.   All of which were urgent in the Client's eyes and put my day into full motion.   I found time on my lunch break to set this site and I hope to share some exciting times/stories with all of my followers.
